If Friday night’s series opener wasn’t thrilling enough for the fans, Saturday’s twin bill at Lawson-Biggs Field exceeded the thrill and not for the faint of heart as the Barton Community College baseball team came away with two come-from-behind walk off victories over Hutchinson Community College.  The Cougars battled back from a four-run deficit in the first game to eventually get an extra inning walk off hit in the eighth claiming a 6-5 victory then recovered from a 6-0 nightcap deficit scoring three in the bottom of the seventh to win 13-12.   Beginning the series in sixth place, the 13-10 and 22-19 Cougars slip into the fourth spot of the Jayhawk West standings while sliding Hutchinson from the second spot to sixth at 12-11 and 26-16.  The teams conclude the series on Sunday with a scheduled nine inning contest beginning at 2:00 p.m.
