Rose Hill: The City receives complaints from property owners about other property owners not mowing grass, and from property owners who want more time to mow grass before enforcement begins. After an internal policy review, the City has concluded that the City’s official policy does not support courtesy notices for tall grass violations. The recent Facebook post regarding courtesy notices no longer applies. The City’s policy requires a certified letter and 10 days to comply. Remember that City law requires grass in most of the City to be kept below 12 inches tall. If you know of any potential violations, please feel free to report it to City Hall. 316-776-2712
