Great Bend Library adult movie night, 7 p.m. May 16, will feature “The Theory of Everything,” based on the life of Stephen Hawking, theoretical physicist & cosmologist, known for work regarding “black holes.” Hawking , 73, confined to a wheelchair, has suffered with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig disease) since age 21. Despite his debilitating illness he has done ground breaking work in physics and cosmology, and written several books, making science accessible to everyone.
