The annual Sunflower pancake dinner will be held on September 17th, 4 to 7 PM at the Prince of Peace Parish Center, 4100 Broadway. Proceeds go to support the developmentally disabled. Connie Oetken, director of development at Sunflower Diversified Services, notes that “the proceeds provide much-needed funds for infants, toddlers and adults with disabilities and delays. Every penny we collect remains in our local communities and directly helps local residents. ”Tickets are now available for the all-you-can-eat, pancake-and- sausage dinner by calling 620-792-1325; each ticket is $5.
