The Great Bend-Brit Spaugh Zoo’s newest addition is Sunny, the sun conure (or sun parakeet). Conures are commonly bred and kept in aviculture and may live up to 30 years. Sun conures are listed as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
