Stock Realty & Auction Co., Columbus, NE, and Colby, KS, are pleased to announce Mike Campbell, of Hutchinson, KS, has joined the company as a farm real estate sales agent. Campbell retired, November, 2013, after a 38 year career with the Kansas Farm Service Agency (FSA). During his career with FSA, he served as County Executive Director in Lane County (Dighton, Ks) for five years, followed by 15 years as County Executive Director in Sherman County (Goodland, Ks), and 18 years as FSA’s Northwest Kansas District Director headquartered out of Goodland. While at FSA he received the Administrator’s Award for Service to Agriculture and supervised delivery of millions of dollars in federal farm program benefits, and farm ownership and operating loans to Kansas farmers. He worked as Assistant VP Lending for American AgCredit in Hutchinson for two years Nov. 2013 to Dec. 2015. Mike and his wife have been married 43 years. They have four children and six grandchildren.

Campbell will be selling farm, recreational and ranch land all across Kansas. He lives in Hutchinson, but is licensed out of Stock Realty’s Kansas brokerage in Colby. In Hutchinson, Campbell serves as vice-chairman of the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee, and will be its chairman in 2017 and 2018.
As the FSA District Director in Northwest Kansas, Campbell’s district included the following counties: Cheyenne, Rawlins, Decatur, Norton, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rooks, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego, Ellis, Russell, Greeley, Wichita, Lane and Ness. At American AgCredit he served farmers in Ellsworth, Reno, Stafford, McPherson, Rice and Harvey.
