Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism are bringing FREE admission to Kansas State Parks on October 1 during the “Healthy Fun at the State Parks Day”. This FREE day is good at all of the 26 State Parks in Kansas which has 32.300 acres of land, over 500 miles of trials, more than 280 miles of roads and more than 130,000 surface-acres of water to explore and play on.
An Antique Tractor Show will also start at 11 a.m. October 29. Tractors will line up in the 300 block of North Washington Street in front of the City Park. Take time to enjoy the machines that have helped out farmers for many years. There is not an age limit for the tractor or the person displaying the tractors. If you have a tractor you would like to share with both the young and the not so young, please contact Jerry Olson at 785-819-3163 for more information. You can never have just one tractor.
