The Harvey County Historical Museum invites the public to a program and exhibit opening on Sunday, January 15. The exhibit Up the Beaten Path: Following the Chisholm Trail will be available for viewing beginning at 1:30 PM, and will remain on exhibit through 2017 in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Chisholm Trial. At 2:00 PM, local historian Brian Stucky will present Pioneer and Indian Trails in the City of Newton, an exploration of the multitude of trails running through the city. Admission on January 15 is $5, with museum members admitted for free.
