Pratt: A Night on Broadway at PCC On Oct. 23-25

On Oct. 23-25 Pratt Community College Performing Arts department will be presenting ‘A Night on Broadway’.

The show is the department’s annual musical Review show, which features music from dozens of Broadway classics and modern shows. Some of this year’s featured shows include: Little Shop of Horrors, Guys and Dolls, Spamalot, Into the Woods and Newsies.

It will feature solos, duets, the ensemble and full choir. There will also be children’s numbers.

“There is a large variety of music from a wide range of shows,” said Misty Beck, show director. “There truly will be something for everyone to enjoy.”

The event will take place in Carpenter Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 24 and at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.

Admissions to the event is $5.

PCC’s performing arts department has numerous opportunities for students to get involved through theatre productions, vocal music and instrumental music. There are two vocal music groups for students to participate in, along with the band groups Beaver Jam and the theatre department, all of which perform multiple times throughout the year.
