Edie Loughmiller will be speaking about AARP Tax-aide at 12-1 P.M. November 22 at the Community Building, 316 E. Clay Street. It is the nation’s largest, all volunteer, free tax help program, providing free e-filings and tax assistance to low and moderate income taxpayers, with priority given to those ages 60 and older. There are no fees and taxpayers do not need to be members of AARP. Some exclusions may apply. AARP is considering providing this service for the upcoming tax season. The presentation is free with lunch being available for $5.
