Aunt Emma’s Baked Apricots

2-17 oz cans apricot halves (drained)

1-16 oz can tart cherries (drained)

1 cup Brown Sugar

8 oz  Ritz  Crackers (2 rolls-crushed)

¾ cup Butter

Line a baking dish with 1 can apricot halves. Sprinkle with ¼ cup brown sugar over  the apricots. Add 2 oz ( ½ tube) crackers. Dot with one TBSP Butter cut into chunks. Next add half of the cherries followed with another ¼ cup brown sugar, ½ tube Ritz crackers, add 3 TBSP butter. Make another layer with second can of apricots, ¼ c. brown sugar, ½ tube crushed crackers, 3 TBSP butter. Finish with cherries , brown sugar, crackers and butter. Bake at 300 for 1 hour.  8 Serving
