Free root beer float day. Stop by your local A&W today, August 6th from 2 p.m. till close for a FREE Root Beer Float. A&W Restaurants wanted to celebrate National Root Beer Float Day by honoring their company’s roots by continuing to provde support to the homecoming of our service members. As a part of the celebration, A&W will be collecting donations to honor and empower wounded warriors across the country through Wounded Warrior Project.
