Andover Advantage Foundation to award over $80,000 to USD 385 schools

ANDOVER, Kan., March 16, 2017 – The Andover Advantage Foundation will award its 2017 Academic Advantage Grants to various classrooms and teachers at Andover USD 385 schools during the annual Grant Squad event Thursday, March 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This year’s gift will total over $80,000 and will include grants for technology initiatives, innovative learning activities and teaching support methods.

The media is invited to attend the Grant Squad event to witness the SURPRISE grant awards as they are presented to teachers throughout the district.

The Andover Advantage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides learning opportunities for every student enrolled in the Andover Public Schools. Over the past 20 years, the Andover Advantage Foundation has funded over $1 million in Academic Advantage Grants and six special district-wide projects.
