Prescribed Burning has long been used as a tool to control weeds & boost the value of land.
Dusty Tacha, from the USDA, will talk about using fire for weed & brush control.
Walter Fick, Professor or Agronomy at Kansas Sate University, will talk about the nutrient boost you get from burning pastures.
Meal will be servedd at 6:00 PM.
