Pepperoni Stuffed Mushrooms is an easy and delicious appetizer/and or snack recipe for a large gathering, holiday, event or game crowd option. It takes less than (1) hourto prepare and cook. Ingredients include: Fresh mushrooms, pepperoni, Asiago cheese and pizza sauce.

20 large fresh mushrooms (1 lb total), cleaned,
stems and gills removed
3 tbsp pizza sauce
(5 oz) Asiago cheese, cut into 20 (3/4″) cubes
5 slices pepperoni, quartered
1. Preheat oven to 450º F.
2. Place a wire rack on a foil-covered rimmed baking sheet; place mushrooms, cap sides up, on rack.
3. Bake 15 minutes. Drain mushrooms on a paper towel-covered plate. Remove wire rack and discard foil (with mushroom liquid) from baking sheet.
4. Return mushrooms to baking sheet (without rack). Spoon pizza sauce into mushrooms; top with cheese and pepperoni.
5. Bake for 10 minutes or until heated through.
