Fifteen players found the scoring column for the 21st ranked Tabor College Bluejays as they routed Central Christian College by the score of 96-62, in game three of the Tabor Holiday Classic  Saturday evening in Hillsboro, Kan.

The 96 points by the Bluejays was their highest offensive output of the year, as they improve to 9-6 overall, and 7-0 in KCAC play.

Kaleigh Troxell (JR/Edmond, Okla.) led three Bluejays in double figures with 12, while Mallory Zuercher(SR/Whitewater, Kan.) finished with 11 points and a game-high six assists. Tabor also got 10 points fromTena Loewen (JR/Hillsboro, Kan.) while Jurnee Reid (JR/Wichita, Kan.) and Tristen Leiszler (FR/Concordia, Kan.) added eight points apiece.

The Bluejays offense finished the game with a season-high 25 assists, while shooting 52 percent from the field, and 55 percent from behind the arc. Defensively Tabor held the Tigers to 35.8 percent shooting from the field, and just 16.7 percent shooting from three. The Bluejays also recorded 10 steals and five blocks while forcing Central Christian into 16 turnovers for the game.

Next up for Tabor is a trip to Leavenworth, Kan. where they will take on the University of Saint Mary. Game day is set for Thursday January 7, with tipoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
