You-All Come

By Roger Ringer

“WE MUST LET GO OF THE LIFE WE

HAVE PLANNED, SO AS TO ACCEPT

THE ONE THAT IS WAITING FOR US”

Joseph Campbell

If you have ever wondered about the hill that I live on down here in Barber County and would like to find a place to live just like it? Here is your chance.

I have taken inspiration from the view that we have in every direction here on the Wildfire Ranch. There is only one thing in life that is always true and that is change.

What is changing is that the whole family is getting old and in declining health. We are no longer able to keep up with running the bed and breakfast and keep the ranch up the way we need to.

So we have purchased a house on a smaller hill closer to Medicine Lodge and have the ranch up for sale. Now you would not have to run the ranch as a bed and breakfast. This is just a great place to live period. It would make a great headquarters, camp, lodge, and what ever you want to do with it. If you do want to keep the B&B running we will give it to you.

Does it make us sad. Of course. We had hoped to be here forever. but reality rears it’s ugly head and we have to downsize. So as the title says YOU-ALL COME. If you are interested in the Wildfire Ranch we are having an open house on June 28th.

Look to the ad in the Rural Messenger or check the website of the realtor and call for information. There is even going to be a door prize given away.

The open house will run from Noon until 4pm on June 28.
