The Butler County Times Gazette reported Augusta’s football and soccer field at Hillier has been vandalized for the second time in just more than one week. A rectangular section was cut out of an orange section of the painted part of the field. After a second act of vandalism on the stadium, Augusta athletic director Doug Law believes action is required. “The first incident we chalked up to malicious mischief, but we’re taking this incident personally,” Law said. “We need help identifying the individuals responsible and putting an end to it. Anyone with information regarding this incident is being urged to contact proper authorities, including school administration, as well as coaches. the complete story is available here
