Hutchinson: The Mischief Makers return to town on the 29th

Stage 9’s popular fundraising concert series, Stage 9 Live! returns on February 27, 2016 with The Mischief Makers.  The cost of Stage 9 Live! is $25 per person.  The show begins at 8:30 p.m.

The Mischief Makers is a group of amazing musicians assembled for your listening pleasure. It is composed of Nikki Moddelmog, Dennis Hardin, Dr. Mark Foley and Shane Marler.

Nikki Moddelmog has been writing, singing, and delighting audiences for many years in the Hutchinson and Wichita area.  Dennis Hardin is a regular performer in many area groups and is considered a virtuoso of stringed instruments. Dr. Mark Foley is Professor of Double Bass at WSU where he serves in a double role as principal double bass in the Wichita Symphony.  Shane Marler spent many years in the ska band Ophil, then took a turn toward Americana and gypsy jazz in recent years.  Together they are the Mischief Makers.

Stage 9 Live! is a fundraising concert series that began in March of 2014.  Long time Board member, local musician and community leader Bob Colladay is the organizer of the concert series.  Stage 9 Live! takes place at Stage 9 in downtown Hutchinson at 9 South Main.  Stage 9 Live! has featured popular regional and national acts in the past several years with a focus on Americana.  In the intimate auditorium with superior acoustics, patrons enjoy the best live music has to offer.  As a special bonus, free refreshments are included in the price of admission.

Patrons who purchase tickets prior to February 20, 2016 enjoy a $5 discount.  Beginning February 21, 2016 until curtain time, tickets are available for $25.  Tickets may be purchased online at stage9hutch.com, during regular business hours at Apron Strings (1 South Main) and 30 minutes prior to the concert at Stage 9.

All seating is general admission. The house opens at 8:00 p.m. with the show starting at 8:30 p.m. Stage 9 seats 85 people and seats are available on a first come, first served basis.
