Newton Public Library features “Ranchito Roots” on Nov 15

The Public is invited to “Ranchito Roots” at 7 P.M. November 15 at the Newton Public Library, 720 N. Oak. The Harvey County Historical Museum and the Newton Public Library have teamed up to bring this program about the many Mexican-American immigrants form 1920 through 1959. Debra Hiebert, museum director, will share photos and stories collected from the community over the past year, about live in the railroad housing area that was home to many immigrants. The program be repeated on November 20 at 2 P.M. at the Harvey County Historical Museum, 203 N. Main.
