Wichita: Kellie Platek Serves in Ministry

Kellie Platek, an Accounting major at Azusa Pacific University, served in ministry through the Center for Student Action during the fall semester at Mexico Outreach.

Throughout the year, students have numerous opportunities to build relationships in the city of Azusa, greater Los Angeles area, and Mexico. From assisting in food banks to providing after school tutoring and mentoring, the Center for Student Action at Azusa Pacific mobilizes and educates students toward responsible and transformational service locally and globally through a collaborative network of offices and programs.

Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian university committed to God First and excellence in higher education. With 61 bachelor’s degrees, 40 master’s degrees, 17 certificates, 11 credentials, 8 doctoral programs, and 4 associate degrees, the university offers its more than 10,000 students a quality education on campus, online, and at seven regional centers throughout Southern California.
