Community Family Board Game Night, August 7th from 7 p .m. to 9 p.m.
Before going back to school and getting trapped in all of that stress the new routines bring, join us for a relaxed evening spending time with each other playing board games as a family.
Do you know board games foster the six characteristics found in strong families? Board Games help develop quality time with each other, fostering appreciation, and opening venues for effective communication, paving the path for passing values and convictions, gaining coping skills and ultimately commitment for each other.
The closer the family, kid’s better school performance; with board games you get both.
A perfect resource to start a new school year with as a strong family!
K-State Research & Extension in Sedgwick County is opening the doors to the community to participate in our Community Family Board Game Night, Bonding Thru Board Games. This is a research based K-State Research & Extension program to help families’ relationships thru board games.
