The Harvey County Master Gardener Volunteer Program fall class is now accepting applications for the fall 2022 course. If you are interested in being a volunteer and learning a lot about horticulture this is the course for you!
In this program you will learn landscaping, vegetables, trees flowers, plant propagation, lawn care and so much more. This is a three county training course so you will get to know others that have similar interests.
Our volunteer program opportunities and projects include: flower and vegetable exhibit check in at the Harvey County Fair, The Library Garden Tour, The Giving Garden, The Harvey County home and Garden Show, etc.
The cost of the course is $125 and is due September 1 to the Harvey County Extension office in Newton. Contact the office at (316) 284-6930 or email [email protected] for an application.
