Via Christi Health has named Michael McCullough as its chief financial officer—a role he has been filling on an interim capacity since March.
“Michael brings more than 20 years’ senior leadership experience in healthcare finance, which has benefitted us greatly during the five months he has been part of our senior leadership team,” said Mike Mullins, Via Christi’s chief executive officer and Ascension Kansas ministry market executive. “I’m confident he will continue to be a valuable contributor as we continue to address the challenges of healthcare finance.”
McCullough previously was CFO for Acadia Healthcare’s Willingham division in Franklin, Tennessee, where he provided financial oversight for 11 hospitals. Prior to that, he was CFO of Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, where he was responsible for financial operations of its three hospitals and 110-physician multispecialty and primary care physician group.

McCullough graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a certified public accountant.
