CENTRAL

 

Arcadia: July 7. Elevation 2 1/2 ft. above normal, water 83 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on Carolina rigs at 6-10 ft. on submerged humps and road beds. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-12 ft. around marked brush piles and fishing docks. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut shad, punch bait and cut carp around rocky points. White bass fair on slabs at 12-15 ft. along submerged humps and on white grubs while surfacing early in the morning. Draper: July 5. Elevation above normal, water 78 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, plastic baits and Alabama rigs along weed beds and standing timber. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around brush structure. Channel and blue catfish fair on crawfish, stinkbait and cut bait along riprap and points. Hefner: July 7. Elevation normal, water 80-84 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on jigs, spinnerbaits and crawfish along coves and riprap. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on lipless baits and grubs along shorelines. Walleye slow on minnows, worms and crankbaits in the main lake. Channel and blue catfish fair on punch bait, dough bait and cut bait at 12-20 ft. along shorelines. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around docks. Report submitted by Lucky Lure Tackle.
Overholser: July 6. Elevation above normal, water murky to muddy. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait, live bait and chicken liver in the main lake, along shorelines and in the discharge. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on cut bait, shrimp, crawfish and jigs along the river channel and shorelines. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs in the discharge. Thunderbird: July 5. Elevation above normal, water 78 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, plastic baits and spinnerbaits around brush structure and standing timber. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around brush structure. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait, stinkbait and crawfish along channels, riprap and points. Wes Watkins: July 6. Elevation normal, water clear. Channel and blue catfish good on worms and cut bait along riprap and creek channels. NORTHEAST

 

Bell Cow: July 6. Elevation normal, water murky. Largemouth bass slow on plastic baits at 5-8 ft. around standing timber. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs at 8-10 ft. around brush structure and docks. Channel catfish slow on sunfish and chicken liver along shorelines. Birch: July 6. Elevation 7 1/2 ft. above normal and dropping, water 80s and clear. Both boat ramps on the north and south side of the lake are now open. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait and worms at 4-8 ft. around docks and rocks. Largemouth bass, crappie and channel catfish slow on jigs and worms. Carl Blackwell: July 6. Elevation normal, water 90 and cloudy. Crappie fair on blue and white jigs along the bridge on the main road. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver 1 ft. off bottom along the bridge on the main road. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.
Chandler: July 6. Elevation normal, water murky. Largemouth bass slow on spinnerbaits and plastic baits along shorelines and weed beds. Channel catfish slow on goldfish, minnows and worms along shorelines. Crappie slow on minnows along docks and the dam. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.

 

Copan: July 5. Elevation 8 ft. above normal and dropping, water 70s and clearing. Boaters and anglers should continue to use caution near and on the water. Floating debris still remains a hazard for boaters. Channel, blue and flathead catfish fair on shad, chicken liver and sunfish at 4-8 ft. along channels, below the dam and tailwaters. Eucha: July 5. Elevation normal, water 87. Largemouth bass fair on topwater lures, plastic baits and spinnerbaits along coves, points and weed beds. Channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad along riprap and shallows. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around brush structure and docks. Bluegill good on crickets, worms and jigs along coves, shallows and weed beds. Report submitted by Kody Moore, game warden stationed in Delaware County.
Ft. Gibson: July 2. Elevation above normal, water 82 and stained. White bass fair on in-line spinnerbaits and crankbaits at 10-15 ft. around points and the main lake. Blue, flathead and channel catfish fair on live bait, shad and cut bait in the main lake, below the dam and in the discharge. Report submitted by Rick Stafford of Wagoner.
Grand: July 6. Elevation above normal, water 80 and slightly murky. Crappie fair on Go Go minnows and tube jigs at 10 ft. around brush structure. White bass good on spoons and Fle Fly bendable minnows along flats, points and the north end of the lake. Blue and channel catfish good on live shad, shad and cut bait along points and flats. Greenleaf: July 7. Elevation normal, water clear. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits and crankbaits around brush structure and rocks. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait, shad and shrimp along shallows and coves. Crappie slow on minnows and tube jigs around docks and brush structure. Hudson: July 5. Elevation 7 ft. above normal, water 77. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait, shad and worms at 6-14 ft. below the dam, tailwaters and river channel. Largemouth bass fair on buzz baits, spinnerbaits, small lures and jerk baits at 5-10 ft. around brush structure, riprap and points. Hulah: July 5. Elevation 14 ft. above normal and dropping, water 70s and clearing. Boaters and anglers should use caution on and near the lake due to floating debris from high water levels. Channel, blue and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, shad and sunfish at 4-9 ft. below the dam, along creek channels and tailwaters. Kaw: July 7. Elevation 12 ft. above normal, water 80 and clear. Pioneer and Bear Creek boat ramps are open. White bass and crappie fair to good under bridges. Striped bass and catfish good below the dam. Report submitted by Larry Green, game warden stationed in Osage County.
Keystone: July 7. Elevation above normal, water 75. Striped bass excellent on live shad and jigs along channels. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits along shorelines. Blue catfish fair on cut bait. Report submitted by Karlin Bailey, game warden stationed in Creek County.

 

Lower Illinois: July 5. Elevation above normal, water 68 and murky. High releases from Tenkiller are making fishing very difficult. Trout slow on worms and PowerBait below the dam. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.
McMurtry: July 7. Elevation normal, water mid 70s and semi-murky. Saugeye fair on minnows and crankbaits at 6-12 ft. around docks and sandbar. White bass fair on crankbaits at 4-6 ft. along rocks, sandbar and the main lake. Report submitted by Jared Avilez.
Oologah: July 5. Elevation above normal, water 75 and murky. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait at 15-25 ft. drift fishing flats near the river channel. White bass fair trolling crankbaits at 5-15 ft. along flats. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 15-20 ft. around brush structure. Spavinaw: July 8. Elevation normal, water 89. Largemouth bass fair on topwater lures, jigs and spinnerbaits along coves, points and weed beds. Walleye fair on crankbaits along shallows and flats. Channel catfish good on cut bait and shad along shallows and flats. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs along riprap and docks. Canton: July 4. Elevation 4 ft. below normal, water 82 and clear. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on slabs at 8-13 ft. in the main lake. Channel catfish good on live bait and shad at 14-18 ft. in the main lake. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.

 

Ft. Supply: July 7. Elevation normal, water murky. Channel catfish fair on juglines baited with cut bait and worms along the dam area. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County.

 

SOUTHEAST

 

Arbuckle: July 4. Elevation rising, water 77 and stained to muddy. All ramps are closed. Smallmouth bass slow on spinnerbaits and lipless baits from the surface to 4 ft. along rocks, flats and points. Report submitted by Jack Melton.

Blue River: July 6. Elevation above normal, water 73 and murky. Channel catfish good on worms, stinkbait and chicken liver at 1-6 ft. along channels, shorelines and rocks. Flathead catfish fair on sunfish, worms and live bait at 1-6 ft. along rocks, shorelines and brush structure. Broken Bow: July 5. Elevation above normal, water 78. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs and plastic baits at 10-15 ft. around brush structure, standing timber and rocks. Channel catfish good on worms, punch bait and chicken liver at 5-10 ft. along channels, the river mouth and river channel. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

 

Eufaula: July 5. Elevation 8 ft. above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits and plastic baits along flooded brush. White bass good on small jigs and spinnerbaits under bridges and around culverts with current. Blue catfish fair on a variety of baits along rocky areas and deeper flats. Konawa: July 6. Elevation normal, water 84 and clear. Largemouth bass good on jerk baits, topwater lures and plastic baits at 4-8 ft. along shallows, weed beds and coves and on soft plastic baits along riprap after dark. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait, punch bait, dough bait and worms at 6-10 ft. along riprap, points and creek channels. Lower Mountain Fork: July 6. Elevation above normal, water turbid. Trout good on PowerBait and worms below the dam, along the spillway and rocks. Murray: July 6. Elevation normal, water 75 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on flukes, tube jigs and plastic baits at 5-20 ft. along rocks, points and weed beds. Channel catfish good on cut bait, worms, shad and minnows at 3-12 ft. along rocks, riprap and brush structure. Bluegill and sunfish good on jigs, worms, minnows and small lures at 3-8 ft. along shallows, sandbars and weed beds. Striped and white bass good on live shad, cut bait and sassy shad at 10-20 ft. below the dam and river channel. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait, live shad and worms at 10-20 ft. below the dam, along creek channels and riprap.
