Mom’s scalloped corn

2 cans cream style corn

2 eggs

¾ teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 Tablespoon sugar

½ cup milk

¼ cup melted butter or margarine

1 ½ cups crushed saltines crackers

 

Mix all together. Pour into buttered baking dish. Cover with tin foil.

Set into a large pan with water enough to come up on pan of corn half way. (to prevent burning)

Bake at 350 degrees ubtil center is set, usually about 2 hours.

Remove tin foil for at least ½ hour to brown the top
