Andover Softball loses despite being ahead

The Andover High School Softball team feels cheated out of a chance at the 5A State Championship. In their semi-final game against Shawnee Heights, the Trojans regained the lead in the top of the seventh inning just before the game was delayed by rain. The game was eventually cancelled. National Federation of State High School Association softball rules state that games ended due to weather after five full innings have been played, will end with the score of the last completed inning.
