Aubrey Wilson named Jayhawk Conference Volleyball Player of the Year

The Jayhawk Conference’s highest all-around honor was earned by Hutchinson Community College sophomore, Aubrey Wilson.

Wilson was named the conference Player of the Year after an outstanding season where she finished in the Top 20 in the Jayhawk in kills, set assists and blocks.

The conference award adds to a distinguished career for Wilson. In two seasons, she has totaled 1,309 assists, 537 kills and 245 blocks.

She will get the chance to add to her statistics when the Blue Dragons head to the NJCAA Division 1 Championship Tournament next week.

Teammate, Petra Silic, also earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team, and Jai Chapman was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
