North Newton, Emily Reed signed her letter in May, becoming the latest addition to the women’s soccer team at Bethel.
Coach Turini is very excited to add Emily. “Emily is an offensive minded player that should add a scoring treat to the team. Finding players who will give us an opportunity to score more goals was a major focus of our recruiting class for next year.”
Reed was an All-District and All-Conference player for three years at Neosho Senior High School. She was also a four year Honor Roll student. Reed said that she chose Bethel because, “the academic and athletic programs truly impressed me. I am really excited to become a part of the Thresher family. With Coach Turini’s expertise combined with Bethel’s academics, I feel at home.”
