The Sedgwick Fire and EMS departments have been put on notice by the Kansas State Board of EMS for non-compliance with staffing and response times. The departments are now required to provide the state with monthly reports detailing calls, response times and the number of calls passed off to the Halstead EMS. If the City of Sedgwick does not make progress toward a solution, the state will be forced to step in.
