Assaria held a public meeting on proposed floodplain map

A public meeting was held on Monday, December 4 at the Community Building to discuss the new floodplain maps. The Kansas Department of Agriculture, a National Flood Insurance specialist and a floodplain mapping coordinator were available to discuss the effects of the new maps.
