The Kansas Learning Center for Health and USD 440 conducted a wellness challenge during the holidays. Eight USD 440 teams were pitted against three Learning Center/community teams to maintain or lose weight throughout the holiday season. The school district won the trophy, but the entire community wins when wellness strategies gain attention.
