Parkside Homes in Hillsboro is one of nine adult care homes in the state recognized by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services for their achievements in sustaining person-centered care for residents during 2015. Parkside was noted as successfully implementing a positive culture of change through the Promoting Excellent Alternatives in Kansas Nursing Homes (PEAK) program.
