Mt. Hope: City budget approved

According to unofficial City Council notes the Council to approved the $2,112,191.00  Mount Hope City budget for 2016 with a vote 5-0 at the August 8th Council Meeting. The Council also approved a request by Police Chief Moore for the purchase of a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria police car from the City of Edwardsville for $5,000.00.
