The Newton Historic Preservation office will host Amanda Loughlin, the National Register Coordinator with the Kansas State Historical Society on July 21st. Amanda will present a workshop titled “How to List Your Property.” Presentation begins at 6:30.
Amanda will present how to navigate the nomination application when applying for designation to the Register of Historic Kansas Places and/or the National Register of Historic Places. She will also outline what makes a successful application and review what details and documentation are needed to best tell the story of a potentially historic property.
