The Central Care Cancer Center has been awarded the Champion of Farm-workers Award from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Kansas Statewide Farmworker Health Program (KSFHP). The KSFHP program provides vouchers to uninsured and under-insured migrant and seasonal farm-workers in Kansas which allows them access to medical care. Central Care Cancer Center offers supportive services to help cancer patients, caregivers and families cope with the disease throughout the patent’s journey.
