Chase County Elementary students now have guitars in their classroom thanks to Music teacher, Ashley Welsh. Ashley wrote a grant application to the Emporia Community Foundation. The grant has allowed Mrs. Welsh to purchase 26 instruments that the students will learn how to play. Students will begin instruction on the guitars after winter break.
