Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma will become the 52nd agency to operate the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. Part of the program’s goal is to improve the health and wellbeing of seniors and to ensure older Americans are able to get healthy food. The program also provides over 800,000 local grown fruits and vegetables to low-income older Americans in 43 states.
