The Belle Plaine Public Library has children’s and a teen/adult Launchpads available for use while in the library. These are pre-loaded (not connected to the Internet) learning tablets. The children’s tablet is loaded with Around the World activities about Einstein, the Wright Brothers, London, Italy, flags, and more. Most suitable for ages 5-7 but younger kids are welcome to try with adult supervision. The teen/adult tablet is loaded with 10 different volumes of brain games to try to Crack the Code. These games help challenge your memory, reaction time, problem solving and more.
