Chamber PAC Announces 2020

General Election Endorsements of Pro-Jobs Candidates

Topeka, KAN. – The Kansas Chamber PAC on Tuesday announced its endorsements of pro-jobs candidates for the 2020 General Elections.

“With record unemployment and economic uncertainty impacting nearly every Kansan, now more than ever, it is crucial that the leaders of our great state are focused on how to get Kansas back on a path of economic prosperity. That they understand the fundamental role business plays in the economic health of our communities. And that they will promote legislation that lowers the cost of doing business in Kansas so companies have more to invest in their operations and employees,” said Alan Cobb, Kansas Chamber President and CEO.

The Chamber PAC based its 2020 endorsements on a variety of factors including, but not limited to candidate surveys, in-person interviews, and scorecards based on legislators’ voting record on policies and issues important to the Kansas business community.

“The policymakers sent to Topeka determine whether Kansas will thrive or suffer under the burden of an ever-expanding government,” said Cobb. “The candidates endorsed by the Kansas Chamber PAC are committed to the free-enterprise system and support pro-jobs policy objectives that will make Kansas a more competitive state and create economic opportunities for her citizens.”
