On Thursday, March 17, I am having a Herbicide Update meeting at the community room (lower level) at the Harvey County Courthouse, 800 N Main, Newton, and it will start at 10:00 am.
This update is targeted ways for crop producers to deal with herbicide resistant weeds for Conventional and No-Till practices. This is especially important due to the increasing herbicide resistance we are experiencing in weeds now.
The discussion will be led by Dr. Douglas E. Shoup, K-State Associate Professor and Southeast Area Agronomist.
Pre-registration is needed by March 15.
Cost is $5.00 per person, refreshments will be served. You may pay at the door, cash or check only.
