This popular annual winter festival started with a small group of people celebrating the bald eagles that winter at Lake Pueblo State Park and has grown into one of Pueblo’s most family-friendly events. It now offers three full days of fun and discovery for all ages.
Pueblo Eagle Days offers festival goers the opportunity to see live birds of prey up close, fun and entertaining presentations, a photo contest, and lots of crafts and activities for the kids.
Some of the highlights of this year’s festival include getting to see rehabilitated birds of prey released back into the wild and painting pictures of birds of prey at the Pueblo Zoo.
